Invisalign clear braces

If you’re looking for a more discreet orthodontic treatment, Invisalign braces are the way to go.

Using a series of clear aligners, Invisalign braces apply continual pressure to the teeth, causing them to move into a straighter position, just like traditional fixed metal braces would.

You can remove Invisalign braces to eat and clean your teeth as normal, and there’s no need for constant orthodontic visits to check up on your progress – making them much more hygienic and convenient.

What’s not to love?

Perfect Clear

As another discreet option, Perfect Clear braces are a series of clear plastic aligners which gradually shift mildly misaligned teeth.

Much like Invisalign, Perfect Clear braces can be removed, which makes eating, brushing, and flossing a breeze, and they also don’t have any wires or brackets – making them another comfortable, fuss-free option.

Fixed braces

Fixed braces are the most commonly used type of braces.

They allow for the most accurate repositioning of the teeth and are securely fixed to them, which means they cannot be removed when it’s time to eat or clean – perfect for if you’re forgetful as you won’t have to remember to put them back in once you’re done!

Lots of patients worry about how fixed braces look – and although they provide some of the most accurate results, they aren’t the most discreet.

However, because they’re so versatile in terms of colour, you’ll be able to choose bands to make your teeth look whiter, complement your facial features, or disguise them altogether. The choice is yours!

They also require a lot more upkeep – including regular orthodontic visits – which isn’t best suited to those with busy lifestyles and who need something convenient. But the results are more than worth it.

Removable braces

Removable braces work in exactly the same way that fixed braces do – only they are, as the name suggests, removable.

Throughout your treatment, the wires of your braces will be tightened to guide your teeth into their desired position.

They’re much easier to maintain, and they help reduce the risk of oral hygiene problems – such as plaque build-up and gum disease – developing during treatment.

However, we only recommend removable braces to patients who only need a minor misalignment treatment, and they’re most commonly used for treating orthodontic problems associated with your upper set of teeth.
